More

In Bitch Song Club the audience was invited into the closet to watch life seen with a queer eye. Stage designer and visual artist Nina Borge had the idea to Bitch Song Club. She wanted to tell the story about the many colourful women who meet in a lesbian club. To do so, she chose using human-sized puppets who could sing as well as dance.

On occasion of the international women’s day March 8 (2008) a small taste of Bitch Song Club (as a work-in-progress) was performed in The Open Theatre (Det Åpne Teater).

Bitch Song Club was supported by The Danish Art Council, The Audio Visual Fund, Arts Council Norway and The Norwegian Culture Fund.
