fractured bones/let’s get lost (2011) by Iver Findlay/Marit Sandsmark (US/NO) is about who you would be if you decided no longer to be who you are.
With impulses from different sources, in all of which disappearance is central, the performance moves across theatre, dance, live music and video installation, with a misty glance to futurism.

In fractured bones/let's get lost theatre and video artist Iver Findlay and choreographer and dancer Marit Sandsmark continue their collaboration with musician and composer Pål Asle Pettersen. The production springs out from The Flitcraft Parable from Dashiell Hammett's classic crime novel The Maltese Falcon (1930).
Through this parable, describing how Flitcraft chooses to disappear, the idea of an object's endurance and performance is examined, while other motives are picked apart, such as Godard's Alphaville, to create a dialectic between the contemporary and the future, and between the inner and the outer.
The production takes place in a landscape of monitors, found at the garbage dump, and projectors creating a frame of reflection, framing the natural and the synthetic.
