Peer Gynt
Peer Gynt (1900) was a theatre production staged by The National Theatre in 1900, based on the play by Henrik Ibsen.
This production was a shortened version of the play. This was the farewell performance of Sofie Parelius. She acted in the role of Mother Aase and Henrik Klausen acted in the role of Peer in selected scenes from the play. The two of them had been the first to interpret the roles, at Christiania Theatre in 1876.
