W.A.T. (World Artists for Tibet), 1998: Visual concert
WAT or World Artists for Tibet was organised as a world-wide art mobilisation in support of the liberation struggles of Tibet and the Tibetan people.
WAT was arranged locally in 66 countries and in Trondheim it was managed by Ninni Sødahl. The action consisted of several events, including exhibitions at Trondhjems Kunstforening (Trondheim Art Society) among other things.
Tara Teateret (The Tara Theatre) presented concerts, participated with a movie screening at Trondhjems Kunstforening (Trondheim Art Society)/Trondheim Kino, and arranged a 12 hour long meditation session with Andri Lehn to support Tibet during WAT.
The same arrangers were behind other concerts in the same spirit, March 10 1999, among other dates.
