The Interpreters
Part 1: She always wanted to be a French actress
The Interpreters (2022) was a theatre production by Nicola Gunn. The production was shown as a work-in-progress as part of METEOR 2021 and had its world premiere on Black Box teater’s main stage, Store Scene, on 3 November 2022.
In The Interpreters, Part 1: She always wanted to be a French actress , Nicola Gunn meets the translator Séverine Magios to discuss her translation into French of a story that Gunn has written. The Interpreters (part 1 -3) is planned to comprise three performances, in which Gunn will collaborate with a sound artist, a media artist and two translators – one of whom translates into French, the other to Japanese.
