Barina
Barina was part of the Stellaris Barents project and was produced by Stellaris Dance Theatre. Barina is Russian for "Missis" and is the name of a well-known Russian folk music piece.

Barina was a choreography by Anna Karpova, produced by Stellaris Dance Theatre. The Russian wives are, the way Stellaris and Karpova see it, special, feminine and energetic. A Barina is in power at home, ruling her husband and her children and using her charm and intelligence to make others do things the way she wants to. The choreography was made for three dancers, each representing three different types of women – all gathered in one figure: Barina.
