Smia

Smia (1986) was a theaterproduction initiated by the artistrun-project Aker Brygge 86/87. The one-act play Smia was selected from several manuscripts submitted to a competition announced by the Aker Brygge realestate-company itself.

Aker Brygge is a harbourfront, located just west of downtown Oslo, on the arm of the Oslo Fjord. The name Aker stems from the former ship yard of Akers Mekaniske Verksted, which ceased operations in 1982.

The production was played in the Black Box Theater at Aker Brygge. The instructor was Mette Brantzeg.
