Erling Kittelsen
Erling Kittelsen (born 1946) is a Norwegian poet, playwright, writer and translator. Kittelsen has studied Norwegian, philosophy and religious phenomenology and has a magister artium-degree, on level with a doctorate. Erling Kittelsen is most known as a poet, but also writes drama and works bordering different genres.

Erling Kittelsen made his literary debut in 1970 with the poetry collection Wild Birds. He was awarded the grant of Mads Wiel Nygaard in 1982, the Aschehoug Prize in 1990, and the Dobloug Prize in 2002.
