Trust Me Tomorrow

"Trust Me Tomorrow examines the experience of blindness. Partly set in a desert landscape filled with shadows and contrasts, the work tries to project itself onto a possible future. The darkness becomes a space for projection, going in-depth, and desire. Blind or visually impaired animals have developed alternative methods to navigate in the world. Can humans, too?
Trust Me Tomorrow is a free-flowing piece of performance art, moving from calm, elegant self-examination to a disturbed and unclear world of thoughts. While it searches for another time, it also searches for points to hold on to, a guide, something to grab hold of while scratching in the darkness - in a world where meaning and truth are about to implode."
Verdensteatret was nominated for the Hedda Award 2021/2022 in the category Best audiovisual design for Trust me Tomorrow.
