En som mæ* (One like me)
En som mæ* (One like me) is a production made in collaboration between Stellaris Dance Theatre and Samovarteateret AKA The Samovar Theatre AKA Samovar. This performance for the family is founded in being seen and heard. Among other things it is inspired by texts by Oskar Stein Bjørlykke. Through dance and movement, words, sound and music in a visual context En som mæ show many of the nuances of friendship.

The collaboration project En som mæ* (One like me) was produced by Stellaris Dance Theatre and Samovarteateret. The topic in En som mæ is losing a friend and finding a new.
The audience meets Mia who has lost her best friend Orvald when they were jumping between ice flakes. The audience can see how she through her imaginary friend Penta finds a way out of loneliness, python days and adults’ well-meaning incredulity. In the centre of the performance are children’s thoughts and reactions, the same way as they are in large parts of Bjørlykke’s writing.
The production En som mæ is targeted towards adults and children, aiming for humour and seriousness, after-thought and joy.
