Teatro Inercia was founded in 1990 in Berlin. In Teatro Inerica’s productions a diversity of movement techniques and disciplines is used as a basis. To Shanti Oyarzabal it is important to communicate with the body more than the verbal. The technique provides a kind of mix between dance and theatre, in which there is no boundaries set for the body.
In 2006 Teatro Inercia visited Stamsund International Theatre Festival with the productions Transmutation and Deathdance.
