Regionteater Väst
Regionteater Väst and its associated venues have formerly been known under several different names; Bohusläns Teater, Älvsborgsteatern and Västsvenska Teater och Dans AB.
Regionteater Väst aspires to create professional performing arts for children and youth, accessible for the whole Västra Götaland region.

Älvsborgsteatern was established in 1978. I 1998 its dance ensemble was established.
The Foundation of Bohusläns Teater was established in 1990 and in 2001 the two foundations merged into Västsvenska Teater och Dans AB.
In 2007 the name was changed to Regionteater Väst. Touring the region of Västra Götaland with theatre and dance is its primary function.
