The Culture Centre Bølgen
The Culture Centre Bølgen is a municipal enterprise fully owned by the municipality of Larvik. Bølgen includes three main locations: Storsalen (The main stage), Blåboksen (The No. 2 stage) and Galleri Bølgen (the art gallery, also used for other events), plus a cinama house.

The culture centre in Larvik is supposed to be a social and cultural meeting point for the citizens of Larvik and for tourists. The aim is holding a high level of activity throughout the week all year long. Establishing a popular culture centre with a high activity level and a low threshold for use is a measure taken for developing Larvik as an attractive place of living and establishing businesses, while functioning as a meeting point for high-quality art.
