Colombaioni Clowns
Colombaioni Clowns, a father and two sons, are descendants of one of the oldest clown families in Italy. The tradition goes back to the travelling comedy company Taravaglia, touring Europe’s many courts from 1570.

Papa Colombaioni, Leris, debuted in the family circus in 1958, in a little borough in Rome. He was five years old. He is convinced one expresses clownery the best when one can be an acrobat, troubadour, juggler and actor at the same time. And that is exactly what the three Colombaioni Clowns do.
