Yuyachkani
"Yuyachkani" is a word from the Quenchua language, meaning "I think, I remember", and it is not solemnly the name of the group, but also its motto.

For more than three decades Grupo Cultural Yuyachkani has been regarded as the most important independent theatre in Peru. One of Yuyachkani’s aims is to promote theatre based on dance, music, traditions, masks and symbols from Peruvian popular culture, and to bring it on to the audience.
