DEE
Dee is new as a dance ensemble in Norway. The group has its background from the Netherlands where it made performances mainly for children throughout fifteen years.
Often a meeting with Dee can be a child’s first experience with dance.

Dee tries to tempt kids’ unlimited imagination with humour and exciting performances. The productions’ themes spring out from opposites children encounter in their everyday lives, such as nasty/nice, immaculately clean and tidy/incredibly untidy. Oppositions that seem to have a crystal clear good/bad connotation that in the end turns out to be a matter of taste. Dee encourages children to shape their own opinions on the topics, without getting moralistic.
Dee has its own characteristic expression mixing different styles of dance, in combination with mime and theatre. The stage design is an important component to the performances, often a mix between different artistic expressions.
