Cappelen Damm
Cappelen Damm is a culture and knowledge enterprise including book shops, book clubs, distribution and publishing within a wide selection of titles within all genres, on paper and electronic.
The publishing house releases more than 1000 new titles a year - Norwegian and translated prose, books for children and youth, documentary books and non-fiction, text books and other learning materials for schools and higher education, plus magazines, maps and games.
J.W. Cappelens forlagsbokhandel was established in 1829. The publishing house merged with another publisher, N.W. Damm & Søn, in 2007, under the new name of Cappelen Damm.
