Vaba Lava
Vaba Lava is an Estonian theatre and performing arts’ centre founded in 2010.
Vaba Lava does not have a permanent creative team – for each new play, a new troupe is formed, offering job opportunities to freelance actors and artists. The theatre has a two-year thematic curator programmes that are led by guest curators from abroad.
In 2014-2022 the Vaba Lava theatre centre operated in Telliskivi Creative City in Tallinn, and since 2018 Vaba Lava has a theatre house in Narva. In addition to giving performances in various Estonian counties, Vaba Lava is characterized by travelling and giving guest performances outside of Estonia.
