Københavns Musikteater

Københavns Musikteater (literally: The Musical Theatre of Copenhagen) has throughout the years been called both Den Anden Opera (literally: The Other Opera) and Plex.

In expression Københavns Musikteater ranges widely. The artistic vision is defining musical drama by presenting different connected genres from the newly written to the classical, new circus to chamber concerts, variety to unplugged rock and electronic music.

 In this spirit Københavns Musikteater creates its own and co-productions, while the theatre venue is also open as a venue for visiting works and independent music companies.
