Arne Lygre on the international stage(230)
Arne Lygre is one of Norway’s most performed playwrights. He made his debut as a playwright with the play Mamma og meg og menn (Mother and Me and Men). A one-act version of the play was performed as part of the Norwegian Drama Festival in 1996, and the first full-length production was performed at Rogaland Teater in 1998. The play has since been performed in Denmark, France and Germany.
In collaboration with The National Library of Norway we have documented all the Norwegian and international productions of Arne Lygre’s works. On Sceneweb you can now find a complete overview, from the world premiere of Mamma og meg og menn (Mother and Me and Men) in 1996, to the latest premiere (at the time of writing, 18.02.2026) – I vårt ställe in Stockholm in August 2025.
