Ibsen Theatre was established in 1975 under the name of Telemark Theatre (Norwegian: Telemark Teater). Between 1975 and 1981 the theatre was managed through collective leadership. Telemark Theatre was the regional theatre for the county of Telemark between 1975 and 1991. In 1991 it became the regional theatre for the two counties of Telemark and Vestfold, and its name was changed to Ibsen Theatre.
This collection comprises programmes that the theatre has provided to the National Library of Norway as legal deposits, as well as digital programmes from the theatre’s own archive. If you wish to view a selection of programmes, e.g. programmes from the 1970s, you can make a specific search.
