Oslo Nye Teater (Oslo New Theatre)'s posterarchive (50)
Oslo Nye Teater (Oslo New Theatre) was established in 1959 and is now a city theatre in the capital. It is centrally located in the centre of Oslo and consists of four venues across three buildings: The main stage called Oslo Nye Hovedscenen in Rosenkrantzgate 10, Centralteatret in Akersgata 38 with Teaterkjeller'n in the basement, and Oslo Nye Trikkestallen at Torshov. Centralteatret is one of Norway's oldest theatre venues, and you may read about its history here.
September 11 2011, Oslo Nye Teater (Oslo New Theatre)'s repertoire database was imported to the Sceneweb database. This means that the theatre's entire repertoire archive was made publicly available. You may see it at the theatre's entry, here. In Oslo Nye Teater (Oslo New Theatre)'s database, the repertoire archives of Det Nye Teater (1918-1959) and Folketeatret (1952-1059) were also included. In 1959, these two joined forces to establish Oslo Nye Teater (Oslo New Theatre).
