Amente Seboka
Amente Seboka was one of ten Oslo youths who told of their experiences in life and their reflections in The Norwegian Theatre's documentary theatre production Fuck My Life in 2012.
He was 16 years old at the time of the opening, November 22 2012. All of the involved youths were aged between 15 and 18.
Per-Olav Sørensen was responsible for the direction, interviews and Norwegian concept, based on an original concept by Pol Heyvaert. Belgian Heyvaert had already collected stories from youth in Cork in Ireland, using them in a production. In Norway the youth used their own stories. They were selected after interviews Per-Olav Sørensen made with 70 Norwegian youths, again selected among a group of 500.
As the performance program for the Norwegian production said: "Even though the concept with moving youth directly from the street to the stage is the same, the stories and the universe the Oslo youth create are entirely different from the Irish."
Amente Seboka is the adoptive son of actress Mia Gundersen Leliënhof and photographer Marcel Leliënhof.
