Simon Stephens

Simon Stephens is a British playwright.

His plays have been performed at National Theatre London, Gester Theatre in Tel Aviv, Steep Theatre in Chicago and Schauspielhaus Hanover as well as theatres in Stuttgart, Salzburg, Hamburg, Zurich and Berlin. In 2006 he received the prestigious Laurence Olivier Award for his play On The Shore Of The Wide World.

In November 2011 Simon Stephens led a workshop for playwrights based on his play Motortown, for Oslo International Theatre at Dramatikkens hus.
