Jacob Melchior began his studies under FUU (Fri UNgdomsuddannselse) in Denmark. During 3 years he danced, directed, produced and acted. In 2001, he started in the abandoned slaughterhouse at the harbour of Aarhus, known as GITIS Scandinavia. For 8 months he worked with some of the best and most renowned teachers of Russian acting tradition.
Final exams at the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts were taken in Moscow under supervision og the headmasters of the acting departement. Today Jacob Melchior is a member of both the Danish and the Norwegian Actors Assoiation, and are working freelance in both countries
