Black av Mette Edvardsen er en soloforestiling om å få ting til å komme til syne. Rommet er tomt; det er ingen ting der. Ved hjelp av utøveren, som liksom et medium skaper kontakt mellom publikum og det som finnes i rommet, skapes det en verden ved hjelp av ord og bevegelse.
Det er en forestilling i tid og rom hvor kun kroppen er fysisk tilstede. Kroppen utfører handlinger og håndterer usynlige objekter, samtidig som den hele tiden forsøker å bygge bro over det uovervinnelige gapet mellom tanke og erfaring, mellom her og der.
