Opera Theatre
The Opera Theatre at Sydney Opera House is set beneath the smaller of Sydney Opera House’s two sails. This proscenium arch lyric theatre is the building’s second largest interior venue. Originally intended for symphony, it has become a key performance space for Opera Australia and The Australia Ballet.
The Opera Theatre is used for opera, ballet and contemporary dance performances and has 1,507 seats.
