At the webpage of Ferske Scener, the following, among other things, is written about Rage:
"In collaboration with Tromsø International Literature Festival Ordkalotten, we in Ferske Scener have been granted a rare permit to make a reading of Jelinek's most recent text. Three actors and one percussionist face the text in an improvised, musical live text performance in the meeting with the audience. It is the first time Rage is performed in Norway.
Rage (written in 2015) springs out from the attack on the satire magazine Charlie Hebdo and the Jewish market in Paris in January 2015. What is behind such a destructive rage? Jelinek answers with a collective of voices, going to the Greek myths, to The Iliad, but also the rage of today's Jihadists, Europeans and eventually herself. Where did it start? Who is the right God? Do we need a God?
Jelinek's text is wild, uncomfortable, transgressing and direct. It is a recognition that rage exists in all of us, and that we need these forces.
The happening is based on Mia Tellander's Swedish translation of the play, for the production at Borås City Theatre in March 2017, as of yet the only production of the play in the Nordic countries."
