The National Sami Theatre Beaivváš described Winter as follows:

"Winter tells the story of a family father (The Man) who comes to town to have some meetings, but his meetings are cancelled. When going to a kiosk to buy cigarettes, he is stopped by a female prostitute (The Woman). Two persons who never meant to meet do meet, and soon the woman is installed in the man's hotel room. Winter is a story about how fast a life can change."
