The Husband Who Was to Mind the House (1992) was a puppetry production by Hordaland Theatre, based on the traditional fairytale by the same title, collected and written down by Peter Christen Asbjørnsen and Jørgen Moe. The theatrical adaption for puppetry was made by Gerald Pettersen and Jan Erik Christensen.

Anne Gullestad directed it.
