In The Scraplab (or in Dutch: Spullenlab) the artists in The Spullenmen create ideas for installations or theatre in collaboration with the audience. The Spullenmen brings different things which are presented or improvised with in a laboratory.

The Scraplab is not a performance, but many examinations with different subjects which can become performances or theatrical installations. In The Scraplab by The Spullenmen are for instance washing machines and ironing boards which are transformed into instruments the artists play on.
Another subject of The Scraplab is Mr. Hat, an old industry robot arm. The opportunities for Mr. Hat to play dart, dance, play the pipes and make paper planes are examined by The Spullenmen.
