"Do you recycle the old curtains, of which you are fed up, before buying new ones? Do you sell the clothes you have tired of at Finn.no, before buying new ones? Sure, you are interested in environment and recycling? And you like chocolate, don't you? That's nice! In that case, you probably also know that your new curtains, the new top and the chocolate have been made by adults or children working under slave-like conditions.
Turns common perceptions upside-down
What if the cards were switched? Slaveliv brings the audience along on several different thought experiments to turn common perceptions upside-down, often assisted by small, simple and provoking effects. For instance, we are brought to a world composed by two kinds of people. One is beautiful, wise and well off, living in perfect harmony with nature and in understanding of sustainable lifestyles. But they are happily unknowing of where all their things stem from. They produce a whole lot of things sent far, far away. Where these things are sent, they do not know. Wonder if there is a hidden connection?"
