One of Us
One of Us (2019) was a theatre production by The Norwegian Theatre and Hannover Schauspielhaus, based on a visual concept by Lars O. Ramberg and Ditteke Waidelichbruker. The production used texts from Åsne Seierstad's book One of Us, and from news articles. It opened at Hannover Schauspielhaus in Germany, using the title Einer von uns, prior to being performed in The Norwegian Theatre's venue Scene 2.
Erik Ulfsby directed it.
The production used two Norwegian and two German actors in collaboration.

"Erik Ulfsby leads a Norwegian-German collaboration with the conceptual artists Lars O. Ramberg and Ditteke Waidelich. Together, they have tried to address what happened July 22.
77 persons were killed this day, in the government quarter and at Utøya. The murderer claimed to be a saviour. As a member of the Knights Templar he was to save Europe from 'the multicultural, culture-Marxist and feminist' delusion and point out the right way. His actions didn't just traumatise Norway, but shook the whole of the liberal world. The same forces are now marching in Europe, forces hailing the anti-modern. Resistance against democracy, against pluralism, feminism and globalisation was given their clearest expression through Breivik's actions, but the attitudes are gaining ground. What makes our societies so vulnerable to right-wing populistic, authoritarian attempts?"
