Hardcore concerts

As part of Extreme, a weekend of performance, installations and concerts in BIT Teatergarasjen the autumn of 2004 the two hardcore bands I.O.U. and Straightedge also performed. This is what BIT wrote about the two bands in their program (translated from Norwegian by Sceneweb’s Lillian Bikset):

"I.O.U. plays dirty hardcore punk of the old school. With references back to greatnesses such as Black Flag and Minor Threat, they offer an ecstatic energy release of rock hard guitars at a breakneck pace. Purified in Blood is the ultimate mixture of metal and classical hardcore. Backed by two furious singers these boys kick where it burns the most."
