In Kyssing e hæsli* (Kissing is icky) with Rasmus og Verdens Beste Band the band plays songs about kissing, paternal grandmothers who are in love, the kids’ soccer team of Rosenborg and the little island of Tustna. In addition some other material is performed, included the songs Flaskepantepolka and Puppan te pappa.

Rasmus og Verdens Beste Band hails from Trondheim and consists of Rasmus Rohde (guitar/vocal), Erlend Smalås (tuba, bass and vocal) and the Serb super accordion player Jovan Pavlovic. For the occasion Øyvind F. Smidt (violin/mandolin/vocal) and Jon Krogstad (bass) step in for Erlend and Jovan. Øyvind Smidt is a prize-awarded folk musician and folkrock violinist in the band Sjuende far i huset. Jon Krogstad plays with the folk music groups Flukt, Soulmates and Peter Stokstad Trio.

Rasmus og Verdens Beste Band won the Norwegian music award Spellemann in the category of «Children’s record of the year» in 2007.
