Carousel

Carousel (1962) was a theatre production by The National Theatre, based on the play by Alex Brinchmann. It was performed at the theatre's main stage.

Arne Thomas Olsen directed it.

Per Aabel played the role of Doctor Holm. This was the third time he interpreted this role at this theatre. He had played it in the first production of the play, in 1940, and in the revival in 1950. Aabel also had this role in a park production in 1953, and in Tancred Ibsen's movie based on the play, The Dangerous Game, from 1942.

Wenche Foss played the role of Mrs. Helene Blom.
