"Inspired by Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness and Francis Ford Coppola's Apocalypse Now, in The Ridiculous Darkness we follow two soldiers on their way deep into the Afghani jungle in search of the deranged lieutenant colonel Deutinger. In meeting the unknown darkness, the civilised white man is tested. It turns ridiculous and all-encompassing dark.
The Ridiculous Darkness is an audio play by the German writer Wolfram Lotz. To adapt the text for the stage, we have invited Jonas Corell Petersen, one of the foremost in a young generation of directors."
