Stillen (literally: Quiet) by Lotte van den Berg/Toneelhuis was in the program of Black Box Teater described as a production it is hard to describe:

"Stillen is a wordless performance about bodies in need of each other; for eating, drinking, loving and crying. Each body has its memories. Each body searches for something. Restless bodies shiver and shake, sometimes bubbling with a surplus of live, sometimes left, sometimes mild and tender, sometimes cruel.

Stillen is a production about the comfort in touch and about the painful in discovering one is alone. Despite it being without words it can’t be labelled dance, nor performance. Perhaps one could call it visual silent theatre. The result is a sentimental expression in which the whole production remains standing as an allegory over human longing. In short, it is theatre awakening emotions in the spectator."

The visiting performance was supported by Arts Council Norway.
