Directory 2 by Frankfurter Küche (Germany), subtitled Songs of love and war, was performed as the conclusion to a workshop the company held in collaboration with Bergen National Academy of the Arts (KHIB) and Nordland College of Art and Film in 2005.

Directory is the title of a series of performances with background in fictional biographic portraits of Thomas Plischke and Kattrine Deufert from the time before they started the collaboration.

Plischke and Deufert express through using image and sound in different formats, such as DVD, Super 8 and live action. The different formats contribute to creating a landscape of stories and images questioning the artists’ own ability to reconstruct a linear biographic narrative.
