"Tusen takk teater consists of loose fragments moving from the apparently sensible to the absurd and completely witless. Reinertsen's text may be reminiscent of the unreliable inner monologue of a mentally unstable person who would have loved life if it wasn't for the way society kept bringing in hindrances. Politically correct statements can turn into right wing populism or meaninglessness by the next sentence, a contradiction to the former, or everything all at the same time! The topics touched upon range from dieting to Nazism, Burger King and art.
Yet director Angelina Josephine Stojčevska wants to give Tusen takk teater a cool and minimalist form. In her first production at The Norwegian Theatre she wants to try to approach an artistic minimalism bordering on the pompous."
