"Gabrielle 'Coco' Chanel (1883–1971) grew up in poverty and was sent to a Catholic orphanage when her mother died. The nuns taught the young girl to sew, and thus the foundation was laid for Coco Chanel's career and one of the most famous brands in the world.
Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra trumpeter and brass band conductor Allan Withington has written and produced several musical theatre productions in Norway and abroad. He has now written music to the unique story of Coco Chanel's life. Through dance, music and speaking masks, the audience is pulled into politics, finance, art and social life as it played out in her time and age."
