Vår tids redsel for alvor* (Our fear of seriousness in our time) is based on the text Our fear of seriousness in our time by Roy Andersson. In the production 2 alvorlige og 1 glad wanted to examine our contemporary times with a critical, reflecting glance. The text is about our time’s fear of historical knowledge and long-term perspectives, among other things. But first of all it poses important questions:

Why does history repeat itself? How can we relate to the knowledge about human capabilities? How can art be used to capture our interest and to provide recognition?
