"A writer tries to find out what happened to young Samuel, who lost his life in a car accident. He contacts Samuel's family, friends and acquaintances. Through their remembrances, he forms a polyphonic portrait of who Samuel was. When a person is no longer alive, memories become ephemeral. Stories and interwoven and untangled, and the portrait of Samuel becomes a reflection of the people around him. By filling out the holes in Samuel's life, the writer also approaches the realities concerning him and his own life. Who really owns the truth of a person?
Everything I don't remember is a love story, about the human and the contemporary. It is a story about how fleeting memories create realities and define us as humans. Which is the authority of these memories, and who are we without other people's stories about us?"
