At the website of Oslo Nye Teater (Oslo New Theatre) the following, among other things, is written about Meet at the Ark at Eight!:

"Two penguins receive news that a major flood is about to take place, and that it will destroy the Earth. The two are the chosen representatives of their kind, and have reserved spots in Noah's Ark. However, they decide that they should smuggle their friend along, hidden in a suitcase, and suddenly, they are caught up in a long, madcap journey.

A humorous, philosophical twist on the story about Noah and the Ark, encouraging the audience to reflect upon community, friendship and God, without providing easy, final or correct answers."
