Historien om et mord* (The story of a murder)
Historien om et mord* (The story of a murder) (2017) is a theatre production in four parts by The National Stage. Historien om et mord is based on text by Jorun Thørring. The production is performed as a feuilleton at Lille Scene. The episodes are also performed together the same place, towards the end of the run.
Rita Abrahamsen directs it.
Kjersti Elvik plays the role of Katarina.

"Who, how and why will be revealed. The National Stage has performed one instalment every week for four weeks. Now, all four instalments have been united into one evening in the theatre, a binge format for feuilletons we know from the streaming era of TV series, but unusual in the theatre. The ensemble manages to keep the interest through all four episodes, but their main tool isn't tension, but comedy. (…) The murder, of Historien om et mord* (The Story of a Murder), doesn't take place in the first episode. Nor the second. The build-up lasts a long time. Regularly, new intrigues are added, and with that, new motives for murder, in something that becomes a modern melodrama with much meta-humour, theatrical genre games and imaginative digressions."
