"The main stage in Dansens Hus is barely recognisable, three live musicians onstage, a complex and surprising stage design, dance, theatre - everything is brand new, with one exception: USA. The theme is still this country in the west, surrounded by myths. Endlessly fascinating and filled with contradictions. The America trilogy has been developed through journeys, residencies and workshops at Robert Wilson's Watermill Center in Long Island and New York Theatre Workshop, among other places.
Through a patchwork of personal stories an intricate, many-faceted image of USA is created, not without humour or irony, but always with great warmth and eternal wonder how the only superpower in the world has become what is has become. Right now, this might be more of a mystery than ever."
