In the solo Fuera de si by Eugenia Estévez the territory outside and between us as individuals is examined. The production seeks a room with space for the other and for the otherness inside of each individual. Eugenia Estévez works with an examining, intimate and deeply going aesthetic. Estévez displays the body as an arena and a source for knowledge, information, aesthetic and communication.
Eugenia Estévez is a dancer, choreographer and dance pedagogue based in Buenos Aires. She is educated within contemporary dance, improvisation, martial arts and yoga. Earlier Eugenia Estévez has performed her choreographic works in America and Europe. Estévez formerly taught at Oslo National Academy of the Arts and Proda in Trondheim.
