OBSERVE/OBSERVED is a narrative sound installation by the artist Hans Rosenström. Rosenström works mostly with installations and interventions in which he uses the situation and the place as a starting point for his works. The works of Hans Rosenström aims to challenge the spectator to reflect over his/her relationship to his/her surroundings.

Hans Rosenström has worked with narrative sound installations in which the spectator’s presence becomes a main element in the work. His former installation Mikado builds on a scene from the movie Cries and whispers by Ingmar Bergman. It was exhibited at the city art museum of Helsinki in 2009 and has also been exhibited at the art museum of Amos Anderson in the same city.
Rosenström also has collaborated with MAP – Mobile Art Production in Stockholm and the galleries Galleri Kalhama and Piippo Contemporary in Helsinki.
Observe/observed can be experienced by three persons at the time.
