Miss Julie
Miss Julie (2008) was a theatre production by The National Sami Theatre Beaivváš in collaboration with Giron Sámi Teáther. Miss Julie was based on the drama by August Strindberg.
Haukur J. Gunnarsson directed it.
The Sami title of the production was Nieida Julia. Gunnarsson let the overclass speak Sami, whereas the servant Juhán (usually known as Juan) had to give up his Swedish tongue.
