The Stones

A pedestrian bridge goes across a freeway – some stones – and the rest is a moving, powerful theatre production about the prohibited, the thoughtlessness, the kick, the anxiety and the consequences.

The Stones was based on a true story in which two young boys from Melbourne, Australia, were sentenced for manslaughter on a car driver after having thrown stones from a pedestrian bridge across a freeway.

The first production of The Stones was produced by Zeal Theatre in Australia with worldwide premiere in 1996.
